AMF Rules

** New members are encouraged to post an introduction allowing current members to welcome you, get to know you, and to acknowledge that you are new.

** Your avatar may be no more than 90 x 90 in size and cannot be profane, racist, sexist, sexual or anti-religious.

** Differences of opinion will occur from time to time on the forum; different personalities bring differing views to topics being discussed, and interpretting what has been said via text only can be much more difficult due to the lack of visual cues (body language).  If a clash in view-points does occur, you should not attack another member on the forum, or via post/pm/msn/email.  To do so may result in posts being locked, deleted/removed, and possible banning from the site if attacks persist.  You should however bring the matter of dispute to either an admin or mods attention so the matter can be dealt with in an appropriate manner.  Remember, it is often a good idea when angry about something to think about it for a while before responding, or even not respond at all.   
 
** The AMF encourages members to express their views in a friendly and good spirited fashion because to do so fosters hearty discussion, and assists in providing others with learning different approaches to their husbandry methods.  Although unsenscored to a point, the use of excessive, prolific, vulgar or discriminatory language may in fact be offensive to some members, and is not acceptable.  Likewise, bullying will not be tolerated.  The fore-mentioned behaviours may lead to necessary action being taken by admins &/or moderators.

** If a thread does get out of control, it will be initially mediated by an AMF staff memeber only, however, if there has been a direct and "uncalled for" attack on another member, the thread will be locked and moved, and said members conversed with. Posts will be removed from threads which involve personal details, attacks on individuals, family members, or anything of a child sexual nature.

** We ask that you NEVER name another forum site/company/person in a degrading way. We also ask that you NEVER create threads about another person - be they a member from here or elsewhere -, we understand that whilst intentions may be good at the onset threads can quickly derail and lead to the person being attacked by other people.

** If it comes to light at any time that you are more troll than genuine member, you may lose access to some boards, and may even be banned.

** PM's are not "owned" by you; they are property of the site and it's owners, however, we don't read/scan PM's unless we feel there is something to investigate or complaints have been made.  We trust our members will not abuse the PM system, however, if individuals are found to be engaging in the inappropriate use of the PM system to spam or to harass other members, you're account will be closed.

** If you have a business and wish to advertise it, then you need to speak to admin about it.  Admin reserves the right to review any personal and non AMF related advertising material prior to it' inclusion/posting on the AMF site.  If you wish to trade on AMF then again, you will need to contact admin.

** We trust and hope you will enjoy your experience on the AMF site.
