SO, I DID THE HAPPY DANCE LITERALLY, RIGHT ACROSS THE PEN!
I have been waiting for these guys to hatch for forever it seems, mum was the blue & white mammoth and dad was Murraysan, my sepia.  I expected blue & whites, maybe some straight whites, promised pick of all the fat little white ones to Youri - SORRY!  I saw some starting to hatch yesterday, thought maybe a couple of black wildtypes, thought maybe the eggs wouldn't be any good as the duck was locked up with her ducklings and started to lay again.  I caught her on the first egg / day of lay and put her into THE man's pen, threw away the first 2 eggs . She sat on 11, hatched 11!!!!  I got 3 x wild type black, 1 x wild type black & white, 4 x white with lavender caps (maybe silvers yet  razz), 2 wild type lavenders, and one perfect atipico lavender!  She has been named Princess Sofia and has been moved into the quails broody box to be spoilt stupid - she is perfect!  Right down to the beak and leg colours - you should see the colour of the tail upclose - beautiful!  Here she is (sorry about the crappy camera / pics - Santa could not afford to give the kids a better one as he spends all his money feeding poultry!):

I'm so glad the hatch turned out so well for you.

I'm sure it's times like this that it makes the hard work and money seem worth while!!

Can't wait to watch the progress - I hope you keep us updated the whole way with photos.

Enjoy :)

And those are just the start . .I haven't logged on for a while . . . long story short is that I let Sofia out and she got eaten by a Kookaburra . .mind you all her brothers and sisters are fine . .she was so big that the _________ bird had to dong her head extra about the tree to try and make her into littler pieces . . and I had culled rooster chicks that morning but apparently that wasn't enough for the ________ bird!
